We want to change how Australia dresses - and we’re starting at the top.

As the largest consumer of textiles per capita, Australia faces a real challenge when it comes to textile waste and consumption. But for too long the responsibility has been on individuals to make the right choices when the system is making it harder and harder for them to do that.

That’s why we need mandatory policy for big textile businesses that sell to Australian consumers. We’ve seen it in France and the EU, it’s time to have it here.

Through art and design, we aim to showcase the importance of textile policy to a wider audience - and to show that the joy of dressing and dressing for the climate can be done all at once.
